Six answers and you have a starting size
These are the same rules Ada uses to set up the fit bike before you arrive. They get you within a centimetre or two. The 90-minute session on the fit bike finds the rest.

What your gravel build costs
Every tier starts with the $180 fit session, and the $180 comes off the build when you go ahead. Prices change with your riding style above, not with who is asking.
Five frames leave the bench each month. Pick yours.
Arvid builds one frame at a time, start to finish, so a month holds five. A $500 deposit holds your month. It comes off the final invoice, and it is refunded in full if you change your mind before we cut your tubes.

From the fit bike to your first ride in about ten weeks
The measurements you typed above are where the fit starts, not where it ends. Here is everything that happens after you send the request.
1. Ninety minutes on the fit bike
Ada starts with a flexibility check on the table, then sets up the fit bike from your answers and moves it until you stop fidgeting. $180, and it comes off your build.
2. A drawing you sign off
Within five working days you get a full geometry drawing with your contact points marked. Ask for changes until it looks like the bike you pictured.
3. Three weeks on the bench
In your month Arvid mitres, tacks and welds your frame, then it goes to the powder coater in town. We send photos at each stage, whether you ask or not.
4. Handover, then a check at six weeks
You collect the bike set to your fit numbers. Six weeks later you come back, we look at how you ride it and move whatever needs moving, free.

One frame on the bench at a time
A physio and a welder on Brickyard Lane
Ada Wierzbicka spent eleven years as a sports physiotherapist, mostly fixing cyclists whose bikes did not fit them. In 2014 she stopped treating the injury and started measuring the rider.
Arvid Petrakis builds every frame himself. He learned to weld on race car roll cages, and he still checks every frame on the alignment table twice: once after welding, once after paint.
The shop is an old brick garage with the fit bike by the front window and the bench at the back. Come and see it; the coffee is on.

What riders ask before they put down $500
Do I have to come to Loveridge for the fit?
Yes, once. The fit is the reason the bike works, and it needs you on the fit bike in person. Riders fly in from all over the country; we book the fit on a Saturday morning and have you out by lunch. If you live more than 300 miles away we ship the finished bike for a flat $220.
What does the $500 deposit actually hold?
It holds one of the five places in your chosen bench month. It comes off the final invoice. Change your mind before we cut your tubes and you get all $500 back. After the tubes are cut, the deposit covers the material.
I already had a fit somewhere else. Can I skip yours?
Bring the report and we will read it. We still do our own session, because a fit on your old bike tells us where you ended up, not where you should be. The fee is credited to your build either way.
How long from deposit to riding?
About ten weeks for most riders: fit four weeks before your bench month, three weeks on the bench, a week at the powder coater, then build-up and a test ride. Wet paint on Signature builds adds two weeks.
Why only steel?
Because it is what Arvid can build best in a small shop, and because steel can be drawn to any size without a mould. A 49 cm frame gets the same care and the same price as a 62.
