Pick the job, pick a slot, and the booking desk tells you the day it will be ready. Walk-ins are fine too, but a booked slot sets your ready-by date the moment you hand it over.

Most buzzing necks need $220 of fret work, not $480.
We put a fret rocker on every neck at the counter, with you watching. If the wire still has height, a level and crown takes out the high spots and gives every fret a round top again. A full refret is for frets worn flat, or necks that have already been levelled twice.

Old wire out, board dressed flat, new wire pressed in from one of 14 sizes we keep on the shelf, then levelled and set up. Stainless wire is $90 extra and outlasts the guitar. Ready in ten working days.

- Lehigh Valley furnaces drop indoor humidity to 25% by midwinter, and solid tops split along the grain.
- Cleated from inside, glued and clamped for 24 hours, then touched up. Ready in seven working days.
- We quote at the counter once we have seen it, and show you the inside with a mirror.

What players ask at the drop-off counter
Anything else, call (555) 014-0909. The counter phone is answered by whoever is nearest, usually a tech.
Do I need to book, or can I walk in?
Walk-ins are welcome and go into the same queue. Booking a slot means you skip the line at the counter, and your ready-by date is set the moment you drop off. On a busy Saturday that can be the difference of a day.
Can I wait while you restring it?
Yes, on weekdays before 3pm. A restring and clean takes about 40 minutes, and there is coffee and a practice amp by the front window. Otherwise it is ready the next working day.
What if you find more work once it is on the bench?
We text you with a photo and a price before doing anything that would add more than $20 to your ticket. If you say no, we finish the job you booked and note the rest on the ticket.
Do you work on basses, acoustics and twelve-strings?
Basses and acoustics are the same price as guitars. A twelve-string setup is $110 because the nut takes twice as long. We do not work on violins, cellos or banjos, and we will tell you who in town does.
How long will you hold a guitar once it is ready?
Thirty days, free. After that we call you, and after sixty we charge $2 a day for storage. Nobody has paid it yet, but the pickup wall only has room for forty.
